The Past, The Present, and The Future

It is the late afternoon at Sakura's house, and Sakura, Tori and Julian are just finishing their lunch. Julian thanks Tori and Sakura for lunch and mentions that he couldn't believe he ate four whole helpings (O.O).

Tori tells Julian that they should head over towards the library then and Julian says that before he does he is going to help Sakura clean up, and he will meet him there. So Tori leaves and Kero comes out from the staircase and says "The coast is clear, I need to speak to Yue".

Julian once again grows wings and forms a cocoon with them, transforming into Yue when the wings moved apart. At this time, Sakura is pouring tea. Kero and Yue walk over to her. Sakura yells as she sees Yue standing there.

So they go up to Sakura's room. Sakura says to Yue that he should warn her before he transforms into Yue. Sakura offers Yue some tea and cake. Yue doesn't take it, and Kero says through a mouthful of cake that Yue doesn't eat. Sakura notes that he eats so much when he's Julian.

Kero replies that Yue draws energy from the moon but when he's in his false form he uses food for energy. Sakura leaves the room and says she's going to get some milk.

Kero then becomes Keroberos and says that it's not over for Sakura yet. Yue replies, saying that the Clow Cards will rise up over Sakura. Keroberos responds, saying that she can do anything.

He notes what happened when Sakura captured the Fly Card and there is a flashback of her using the Windy to capture it, and then there is a flashback to the Shot Card episode, where the Shot Card fires at Li, but Sakura hits the Card with the same shot using the Mirror Card.

Keroberos says that without Sakura, the Snow Card would have made Readington into a winter wonderland. There is a flashback to Sakura using the Firey Card to capture the Snow Card. Yue says that Sakura's bravery is not necessarily a positive aspect.

He also notes that Sakura often needed help from her friends. Yue says that Clow Reed never said anything about there being two Cardcaptors.

There is a flashback to the Cloud Card, where Li has to cut up the Clouds. The delirious Sakura thinks it's Rain but Kero says they just looks alike, and it's the Cloud Card. Sakura is about to capture it (Saying Rain Card still) and Meilin catches, her, aiding her with the movement of the want capture the Card with the right name of Cloud Card.

Then there is a flashback to when Sakura was against the Time Card and she got frozen and Li had to stop the Time Card with his Lightning, giving Sakura the opportunity to seal the Time Card.

There is yet another flashback to when Li and Meilin fought against the Twin Card. Then there is one to the Power Card, where the Power is winning in tug-of-war and Li froze time to take the rope away from the Power Card.

Keroberos says that knowing when to ask for help is not a weakness and as a descendant of Clow Reed, Li has trained since he was a boy which gives Sakura an advantage when he helps. Sakura then walks into the room with the milk.

Later, Sakura says that she is late to meet Madison and Li and she exits the room. When she leaves, Keroberos and Yue continue their conversation. Keroberos tells Yue once again that knowing when to ask for help is an intelligent attribute. He says that even her brother has been using his powers.

There is a flashback....again....to the Cloud Card episode....again. Tori is talking to the Mirror Card Sakura. He says that she isn't sick and shouldn't be taking any medicine. He says that they've met before and she isn't Sakura. (I.E., Mirror Card ep). He said that she didn't know that he had powers to see spirits.

Yue comments that Sakura has made some bad decisions in the past. There is ANOTHER flashback to when Sakura was against the Earthy Card and she used the Watery to battle it. Then to Final Judgment where she used the Wood Card against him.

Keroberos says that she does learn from her mistakes and the Clow Cards are loyal. There is a flashback to the Light and Dark Card episode, where the two of them say that they want Sakura as their master.

Keroberos then says that Sakura also successfully transformed her Staff. He says that Sakura is definitely the one. Keroberos says that she must transform her Cards, that is why they stayed in their false forms. Yue says that they would be better protectors if they knew what to expect.

The next day, Kero is looking up at the sun as Sakura gets ready to leave for school. He asks Sakura if she feels any different and Sakura replies no. Kero says that she still has a lot to come and Sakura asks him if it's not over yet.

Meanwhile, the shadow of a mysterious stranger can be seen....

Sakura says it is going to be one of those days as she leaves for school.

Secrets of The Clow: Kero now has his own post-episode segment call Secrets of The Clow. This time he introduces the Shadow Card and says that it is sneaky because everything had a shadow and the Card is hard to find, but in visible light the Shadow can clearly be seen.

Note: This wasn't an exciting episode at all, it was just a flashback episode. I've seen better ones. And what did they do to Li's voice!? In all of the flashbacks he sounds like a five year old! Same with Meilin! When they were fighting the Twin Card, you'd think that a couple of preschoolers were arguing, not two ten year olds fighting Clow Cards.

Additional Note: DO NOT think this episode was like this in the original Japanese version. Nelvana cut here and there, inserting all those flashbacks. And at the end, Kero was talking about the sun rising. >.<. Does THAT LOOK LIKE THE SUN IS RISING?! It looks more like a sunset, which it was in the original. Nelvana's deeply disappointed me again. ~.~
