Shown in Japanese theaters alongside the XXXHolic movie (entitled Gekijoban XXXHOLiC - Manatsu nno Yoru no Yume) in August 2005, the movie was produced by Production I.G. and directed by Itsurou Kawasaki. Brief Summary:

Sakura, Syaoran, Kurogane, Fye and little Mokona continue on their journey for Sakura’s lost feathers. They landed in a caged country where normal people cannot enter, this just happens to be the place where Princess Tomoyo was. Strangely, everyone in this country carried a bird along with him or her allowing him or her to speak, and her evil uncle – the king, locked up Tomoyo’s. The king was intending to use Tomoyo’s powers to lock up the country in darkness forever but little did he know Sakura got there first and Tomoyo had given her the ring of her powers. In the end, Tomoyo’s bird, Laifan goes head to head with the dark bird and takes the victory, the cage was broken and all the birds flew free.
